Dr. Samantha Westgate serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Perfectus Biomed Limited, an ISO accredited and GLP compliant laboratory with the mission to improve life through the provision of exceptional, customised microbiological services.  Dr. Westgate is recognised for her passion in designing innovative and bespoke microbiological services that serve the antimicrobial community. Whilst working on medically relevant biofilms for the past seven years, Sam’s expertise and drive has attracted attention within the Microbiology sector, regularly requested to present her work and share knowledge both nationally and internationally, including the American Society of Microbiology and the European Wound Management Association.  Dr. Westgate has an inspirational enthusiasm for the work she undertakes, which is reflected in the professional achievements and awards both her and her business have and continue to achieve
