Join us for our second Northern Women Angel Investment Forum on 23rd October 2019 in Manchester.
The Northern Women Angel Investment Forum, part of the UKBAA National Women Angel Investment campaign, brought together angels from across the North to come together to explore the opportunities to improve the gender balance in the early stage investment ecosystem in the UK.
The second annual Northern Angel Investment Forum took place in Manchester, the city of innovation, and offered an important opportunity to explore the barriers and opportunities for women to angel invest, alongside providing a platform to discuss more recent reports from the British Business Bank on Women and VC, and the Alison Rose report on Women entrepreneurship by HM Treasury.
We were delighted to have the support of Innovate UK, GC Angels, UKFast & TechManchester, along with our partners, the Northern Regional Investment Accelerator Programme, including the North East BIC, NorthInvest, Innovation SuperNetwork and the European Regional Development Fund. The Northern Women Angel Investment forum continued the very important conversation of what steps are needed to transform the current investment landscape to better support both women angels and founders
